On Friday February 2nd members of the Blue Knight’s from the SWC and other Chapter’s from around the country and Canada descended upon the Hampton Inn in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

As the bikers starting arriving I took pictures of them and their bikes.  Here are a few pictures of them arriving and hanging around the lobby and pool area.:

While we were standing around someone mentioned about going down to the London Bridge.  I told them that it was walking distance so off we went.  You can go here to read more about the London Bridge and how it came to be in Lake Havasu City:   https://www.golakehavasu.com/london-bridge

After returning from the London Bridge and members and family had dinner at their favorite locations we all met back at the hotel to sit back, relax, and mingle with fellow Knights.  During the evening Albert (Diablo) and Theresa Soto, from CA X, invited everyone to their house Saturday, late afternoon for a cookout.

On Saturday morning after breakfast everyone met in the parking lot around 10:30 for the ride to Topock66 Restaurant on the shores of the Colorado River and Historic Route 66.  If you would like to read more about the Topock66 you can go to:  https://topock66.com/.   Here are a few pictures of the afternoon activities:

After returning from an afternoon lunch everyone got ready to attend Albert and Theresa’s cookout at their house.  After a short break for everyone back at the hotel, people went on their own to the Soto’s home.  Here are pictures of the evening activities:

This last picture is of our Host and Hostess for the evening Albert and Theresa Soto.
After a wonderful afternoon at the Soto house everyone headed back to the Hampton Inn at their own pace.  ON the last evening of our trip everyone got together in the restaurant and outside lounge area for some last chatting and our last 50/50 for the trip.  How fitting could it have been but the last winner of our 50/50 went to Theresa Soto.  Hear are photos of our last evening together:

On Saturday January 13th we had our first breakfast ride of the new year.  While the temps were in the upper 20’s – low 30’s and too cold for two wheels we did have eight members and spouse attend breakfast.  Those who made the ride were: Ken Alan, Susan Bear & Robi, Steve & Bonnie and yours truly.  This was an exceptionally chilly morning ride and we will do a lunch/brunch ride for the next couple of months in hopes of being able to attend on two wheels.  Here is a group photo of the attendees.

On Saturday December 9th Bill, aka Rev, Antje, Stephen, Terry, Ken, Alan, Susan, and yours truly met for our monthly breakfast ride.  This month we went back to KG’s.  However this month’s ride was rather a “COLD” one.  Alan & Susan were the only ones brave enough to ride their BMW’s from Vail where the Temp was 17 degrees with the wind-chill factor added in.  Here are pictures of our riders and the breakfast gang:

On Saturday May 27th Carl Lewis put together a ride to honor Patrick Hardesty and Eric Hite who were killed in the line of duty on May 26, 2003 and June 2, 2008 respectively. Riding today were members from various Law Enforcement Agencies and friends. We met at the Patrick Hardesty Substation on 22nd and Alvernon. From there we traveled up to Old Spanish Trail to Eric Hite Family Park to meet more riders. On to Houghton Road south to Sahuarita Rd, east to Hwy 82 to Sonoita.
