A Garrison Flag was taken down and burned on November 3rd 2017. It happened at Quebedeaux Mitsubishi, at 3434 E. Speedway Boulevard around 4 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3.
Workers tell Tucson News Now that the vandal/s used their own tools, cranked the flag down, put it on the ground, then used some sort of gasoline before lighting it on fire.
“It’s a slap in the face it really is,” said dealership manager, Paul Quist. The massive 25 x 40 foot flag is usually waving outside his window at work.
On Saturday November 11th members of BKAZIX rode to Quebedeaux to show our pride in Tucson and for our flag after our monthly breakfast ride. Those making the ride were Stan, Al, Jim Frank, yours truly, and an old friend and former member Tom B and his friend Laura.
