The beautiful riding terrain in New Mexico is always amazing in this area with the winding mountains filled with pine trees and ghost towns close to this Golden Aspen Ruidoso rally. Hopefully while you are at the Golden Aspen you will experience the peak of the changing of the colors of the aspens where will see everything from green, yellow, orange, and pinkish-red leaves on the trees. When riding by a whole mountainside with the aspens changing it is something that everyone is in awe of.
Another big draw at the Golden Aspen that is held at the Ruidoso Downs RaceTrack and Casino is that it hosts the AMA National Road Riding Convention and has a trade show that covers over 85,000 square feet. Other attractions include bike shows, poker runs through the Ruidoso area, motorcycle giveaway, the, Blue Oyster Cult playing live, multiple poker runs and guided tours through the Ruidoso area, bike judging, a motorcycle giveaway, field events, demo rides, Golden Aspen Rally Queen and King Contest, motorcycle parade, and other events and attractions you can see on the Golden Aspen site.
